This old Eladrin Wizard, devious and cunning, is the reason that Lucan ended up in Sigil to begin with. They say the ancient sage was born blind, seeing as his eyes have always been nonfunctional, though no one can actually remember him as a child. Despite the lack of sight, it hampers him little, Samir moving about as though he can see all things clear as day. He is always accompanied by his familiar, for lack of a better term, a large spider, ironic as it seems.
His sudden appearance in the High Forest, offering his services to the few eladrin that now called the place home meant a swift upturn in their fortunes, and since, they have become far bolder. Only a handful of Samir’s contemporaries know that he was once a high wizard of Myth Drannor, before murdering a rival and fleeing the kingdom. Still, they will not mention it aloud, and even they don’t know about his more devious dealings, kidnapping their elf cousins in the forest, using their settlement as a tool for ultimate revenge, and even dealing with the eladrin’s underdark dwelling cousins on occasion.
